Professional Coaching

Partnering with individuals and/or teams in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.

Are you living your best life?

Success: The achievement of a goal, aim or purpose.

Fulfillment: The achievement of something desired, as a result of fully developing one's abilities or character.

Living your best life is about combining both in everything you do!

Clients often engage us for coaching to help accomplish a personal or career goal. They have an idea of what they want but struggle to make it happen.  At OCW, we believe people are ‘naturally creative, resourceful and whole’ and bring that ‘wholeness’ into focus by leveraging authenticity, we help organizations, and their people integrate their leadership in order to live their best lives!

Through a series of non-biased and empowering conversations, coaching brings out what is important to YOU, your values, your relationships, your unspoken vision for yourself. Whether you want to accomplish a goal, grow your leadership, develop your emotional intelligence, increase your mental fitness or create a set of meaningful coping and navigation strategies. It all starts with a conversation, so let’s begin…

Leadership Development

Establishing a safe space for people to be seen and heard, we create profound leadership experiences that inspire and motivate change, while bringing accountability into focus.  Unique engagement and creativity creates an audience presence that deepens the learning for the group and individuals.  Leaders leave this session with a greater awareness of their own impact and defined goals and tools to measure their go forward success.

Conflict Management

‘When people listen with the intent to respond vs. the intent to ‘hear’, the door to negative conflict is opened.

There is no escaping conflict, it surrounds in all personal and professional relationships. When we listen with the intent to respond, we fail to acknowledge each other as individuals, only fixated on controlling the outcome or opinion.

What if conflict could be very healthy, actually leading to collaboration and innovation? OCW helps organizations identify healthy vs negative conflict and gives you tools to transform conflict into healthy action.

Introducing you to the ‘4 Boxes of Conflict’ structure, we enable you to identify which box you step into when faced with conflict and the impact of being in a box.

Most important, we teach you how to easily get out of the box and move towards common ground and true listening.

Our 1 day workshop has had phenomenal impact on cross-function and complex project teams. Within hours, people are working in an open and transparent environment and in some cases, hearing each other for the first time!

Cross-functional Team Collaboration

Utilizing coaching and consulting expertise, OCW works with your next level leading teams to ensure that there is clear communication, alignment on strategic goals, as well as a defined plan on how they will work together to achieve the targeted results.

Positive Intelligence

We are all born with great natural strengths that when used in a positive and focused manner, operate from our authentic leadership.  When a strength is over-used or abused, it becomes a negative mind chatter known as a ‘Saboteur’ or ‘Inner Critic(s)’. Saboteurs motivate you through negative emotions such as fear, stress, anger, guilt, shame, insecurity.

OCW uses Shizard Charmine’s ‘Positive Intelligence’ framework to help you build a ‘Leadership Tool Kit’, utilizing physical and mental strategies to thwart the negative, ‘auto-pilot’ habits of your Saboteurs. This is replaced with mindful, intentional and focused behaviors that refuel your strengths in order to achieve your desired outcome.

Great for individuals and teams!

“I have had the privilege of working with Jo-Ann for both 1:1 coaching and as a member of a Positive Intelligence “POD”. As someone looking to enhance my leadership capabilities, Jo-Ann skillfully leveraged inquiry and accountability to surface connections, allowing me to identify and make deliberate progress towards my professional development goals. Through group facilitation in the Positive Intelligence framework, she extended my growth experience; empowering me to find innovative ways to create space for empathy towards self, others, and situations. Jo-Ann’s skills as a coach and facilitator make her a powerful catalyst for change, and if the time has come where you know its time to start living your best life – I recommend engaging Jo-Ann to help you maximize your results!”
