What my experiences have taught me

I created OCW as a response to a leadership model that too often rewards perfection, isolation, and control—and fails to create the conditions for real transformation. I envisioned something different:

A collaborative platform where leaders grow in community, not in silos.
Where power is shared, not hoarded.
Where conflict becomes a doorway to clarity, not something to manage or avoid.

Over two decades of work across healthcare, education, corporate transformation, and government have shown me this:
Lasting change isn’t about fixing what’s broken—it’s about strengthening what’s already alive in the system.

Organizations, like people, have nervous systems. When they’re regulated, communication flows, decisions land, and teams move with clarity. When they’re not, misalignment, reactivity, and burnout take over.

I've seen how systems under pressure tend to default to control. But sustainable growth isn’t driven by pressure—it’s powered by capacity. That’s the kind of change I help organizations create.

What I do and how

I’m a Transformation Strategist and systems integrator who blends consulting, coaching, and nervous system intelligence to help organizations adapt and thrive—turning complexity into clarity and stress into strategic growth.

My approach is grounded in advanced training across systems coaching, trauma-informed facilitation, neuroscience-based leadership, and emotional agility. With a background spanning strategic planning, operational design, and leadership development, I bring both the structure and the human insight needed to support organizations through sustained change.

My strength lies in seeing what’s not being said.
Whether it’s misalignment across teams, unspoken organizational trauma, or cultural patterns that quietly block progress, I know how to name what’s underneath the surface and guide people toward clarity.

    Hi, I’m Carol.

    What my experiences have taught me is:

    Lasting change starts from within, and it’s sustained through connection.

    When people feel safe to be seen, they unlock the clarity and courage needed to lead themselves and others with intention.

    I support leaders and learners in reconnecting with their inner wisdom, while navigating outer challenges with presence and precision. Whether facilitating a workshop or guiding a coaching conversation, I weave together neuroscience, intuition, and real-world insight to create spaces where growth feels possible, and personal.

    My path began in accounting, building a successful financial consulting practice rooted in clarity and trust. But it was my calling to work with youth that deepened my commitment to transformational change. I founded Shift Happens, a registered charity, designed to equip underserved youth with leadership skills, mindset tools, and emotional literacy. As that work expanded, I incorporated neuroscience-based coaching practices that now shape many of OCW’s signature programs.

    As a certified Be Above Leadership facilitator, I teach brain-based (lets talk thru this)  coaching models that support emotional agility, resilience, and self-awareness. I’m a co-creator of Flow Academy, The Coach Approach, and Synergy Labs, bringing care and coherence to learning experiences that transform the way people lead, live, and relate.

  • Somatic Whisperer, Coach & Trauma-Informed Facilitator (she/her)

    Hi, I’m Jen.

    What my experiences have taught me is:

    We don’t think our way out of stress—we shift when the body feels safe.

    I help people heal the imprint of retained system trauma so they can reconnect with themselves, increase capacity, and move forward with more presence and intention. My approach blends somatic coaching, trauma-informed tools, and facilitation grounded in nervous system awareness.

    I began my professional path supporting the family business, a space where I witnessed how chronic stress and overwhelm can quietly shape how we show up in life.

    My own journey through stress loops and emotional shutdown led me to explore somatic practices, how the body holds patterns and how we can shift them with care and attention. That insight opened the door to coaching, transformation work, and ultimately to creating space for others to reconnect with their own internal safety and clarity.

    I’ve trained with Galina Denzel, a trauma resolution practitioner and somatic movement specialist, and Sarah Baldwin, a somatic experiencing practitioner and polyvagal-informed coach. I also studied with the ACT Institute (Auricular Chromotherapy), and hold certifications through the Relationship School and the Personal Development School.

    My background in parts work focuses on reparenting and integration and helps clients shift adaptive patterns shaped by lived experience.

    What I love most about this work is the immediacy of the shift, and how quickly presence, healing, and new possibilities emerge when people feel safe in their system. I blend coaching, cognitive behavioral approaches, and embodied facilitation to support that transformation.

    Hi, I’m Paula.

    What my experiences have taught me is:

    Healing doesn’t happen through information alone—it happens through relationship.

    Whether in our personal lives or at work, real change begins when we show up with honesty, curiosity, and compassion. That’s the foundation of every transformation I support.

    I work with individuals, couples, leaders, and teams to move from disconnection to deeper connection, starting with themselves. My coaching blends attachment theory, somatic integration, and courageous conversation to strengthen relational intelligence and support emotional safety, trust, and aligned action.

    My path to this work began with a personal quest to understand why intimacy felt unsafe, even when I longed for it. Despite years of study, it wasn’t until I began showing up vulnerably, learning to listen, speak my needs, and risk real connection, that healing truly began. Over time, intellectual insight became embodied wisdom. That lived experience, alongside the teachings of Sue Johnson, Diane Poole Heller, Susan Scott and others, continues to shape both my life and my practice.

    I’m a passionate and energetic coach who meets you where you are, with a customized, systems-intelligent approach. Whether we’re working on leadership communication, emotional clarity, or personal growth, I help you reorganize, reorient, and reprogram the parts of you that are calling out for attention, so you can move toward the life or leadership you’ve been longing for.

    Born and raised in Barbados by an Indian entrepreneur, I left home at 15 to attend high school in Toronto as the first foreign student at Agincourt Collegiate. The decision wasn’t mine, but the adjustment was. Facing a new culture, new expectations, and a complete change at such a young age required resilience and resourcefulness. It also sparked a lifelong ability to navigate change and create meaningful new paths forward.

    Married to my high school sweetheart, I helped build and operate a successful family business and raised four sons—all while managing purchasing, operations, and administration. By 2018, I realized I needed a new kind of capacity, one that included space to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with myself. The second half of my life has been devoted to learning what makes communication clear, connection safe, and self-awareness sustainable.

    Since completing my professional coaching certification, I’ve invested deeply in personal and professional growth—strengthening how I serve others with clarity and care. My studies include:

    • Internal Family Systems & Attachment Theory

    • Neuroscience and Trauma-Informed Frameworks

    • Systems Intelligence

    • Cognitive Behavioural Toolsets

    • ACT Institute (Auricular Chromotherapy)

    Alongside the learning, I’ve done the inner work too, unpacking patterns around belonging, attachment, and identity. I carry that lived insight into every conversation I have.
